In July 2007, actress Vicki Michelle ('Allo 'Allo!) became one of the stars of Paul's radio comedy play, Brides to Be, which he wrote, produced & directed. And, as previously mentioned, Paul also played a small role in this radio comedy play!
Following the recording of this radio comedy play, Paul produced a vocal showreel for Vicki Michelle on the same day at Quad Studios. This included Vicki performing a monologue called The Hairdresser, which Paul had written especially for her. Paul felt both proud and privileged to work with such amazing and talented comedy performers.

(Entertainment Artistes' Benevolent Fund). Paul and Linda also signed copies of their respective books both in the afternoon (at WHSmith's on Gallowtree Gate, Leicester) and following the show at St. Peter's Church Hall, Oadby, Leicester, in the evening.
The year 2008 saw Paul write another quiz book,
The Morecambe & Wise Quiz Book, which was published by his new publishers, JR Books Ltd., on Friday 31st October 2008. The book includes a foreword written by Ray Galton & Alan Simpson (Galton & Simpson), the writers of the sitcoms Hancock's Half Hour and Steptoe & Son, and an afterword by TV magician and Countdown dictionary corner favourite, Paul Zenon. As well as containing 1,000 questions relating to all things Morecambe & Wise, the book also features recollections from the likes of Bobby Ball, Richard Digance, Vicki Michelle and Angela Ripppn.
On the subject of Paul's Eric & Ernie-related book, Gary Morecambe, the son of Eric Morecambe, said: "Both my mother (Joan Morecambe) and I were really impressed by The Morecambe & Wise Quiz Book which even tested our extensive knowledge of my father and Ernie Wise."
To round off 2008, Paul shot his new short drama film,
Amy, at Elstree Studios on Saturday 15th November 2008. Completed in just one day, Paul filmed Amy (made by his own not-for-proft film company, Paul Burton Films) in various parts of the historic film & TV studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, where films including: The Dambusters, Ice Cold in Alex and Star Wars were made. More recently the studios have played host to films including: Closer, The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy and The Other Boelyn Girl, while TV productions have included: Big Brother, Dancing On Ice and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
The synopsis for Amy is as follows: Catherine Henson (Michelene Heine) has been busily preparing for her wedding to her fiance, Steve Parker, for several months when both she and her friend and work colleague, Kim White (Emma Fletcher), find out separately that a mutual friend, Amy North (Perdita Lawton), has been having an affair with Steve. Following a heated exchange with Catherine in her office about the affair, Amy leaves work early in an emotional state and is involved in car crash which results in her untimely death in hospital the following morning. The news of Amy's death results in the majority of her work colleagues, including Amy's close friend, Natalie Lewis (Freya Saddler), blaming the crash on Catherine. They argue that Amy's concentration at the wheel may have been greatly-reduced due to being upset from the row that had just taken place between her and Catherine. Still devastated by the news that her fiance has had an affair with one of her best friends, Catherine now finds herself being sent to Coventry by her colleagues who blame her for indirectly causing Amy's death.
This twelve minute film was first broadcast as part of a nightly-programme entitled Ronke on Information TV2 in January 2009. The film was subsequently broadcast on the channel approximately thirty times.
